So my second attempt to fix it did come out nicely, don't you think?
About the paining I think its nice, however, its too static. And it seems like its sort of unfinished. The background needs to be a little less varied, or if you really wanted to vary the background, you should have really put some more effort into it. About the subject itself, you need to show more details, here and there, you made nice details on the upper spine area, but they faltered out in all other areas of the painting. The feet are just blocks, can't say anything more about them. Overall its nice.

Okay, the basic problem that i came across in that particular painting is the fact that there is no detail whatsoever in the upper torso/head portion.. below the spine you can see details and make out different parts but above the torso.. it looks like a tumor, i have no issues with the feet i like the way you highlighted their details to make it look like the subject has his back towards us. I have no other issues with the painting, all in all i like the concept, refine the upper portion of the painting and you're set.. hope that helps.

Its perfect. I love the raw, edgy-ness of it.
