Lovely work, tops all. I admit however that some of the photographs feel too banal, but theres also great talent tucked in a few pieces. I especially love the red orange hues (second row from top) coupled with the pages, it feels like the orange turns to black and white. I also like the loner pic in the third row.

The Black and White tones are pretty much weakened if you take them like that and post them without much effect. I'd rather you take some pictures in camera RAW mode and then adjust each of the separate RGB channels to make the image feel a lot more expressive and powerfully engaging.

Since jpeg format doesn't support much hexadecimal tone values info in the grayscale model. Thats why its always better to use camera RAW if you have it.

I'm starting to think that too. Its just, I'm not very good with Photoshop.

i agree with FracOverlord when it comes to RAW image processing -
As far as the individual photographs go, it seems that your photography's ability to have the viewer take a double take lies in the portrayal of the ordinary in a light, that is unique.
Take for example, the photograph in the second row from the top - with the cluttered shoes lying about and the contrasting blank edifice behind the man, the relationship between all three is re-enforced to the extent that they all stand out as individual subjects as well as a coherent picture. A very interesting approach, i must say.
But i do believe, that your earlier post held more ... shall we say, poignant pictures.
The picture in the 5th row from the top would be my favorite though. the tree when seen juxtaposed against the blindingly white ground, seems to give an effect of a "painting" and brushstrokes that are alive.
Would love to see some more work.
Cheers.
