It was inspired by a wonderful manga called Blame! by Tsutomu Hiro. If you haven't read blame yet, its an amazing manga; one of the extreme best mangas I've ever come across. The artwork is excellent, the story is intriguing and keeps you glued to the screen (i read it on my pc). If you want to read it, please post a request in the LINKS HEAVEN section.
